Opening of the 24th session

BTO-This morning (July 17), at the Provincial Convention Center, the 24th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, opened. Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (PC) and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tieu Hong Phuc chaired the session.

Attending the meeting were former provincial leaders of all periods, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, departments, branches, districts, towns, cities and 43/49 delegates of the 11th Provincial People's Council.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized that at this session, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on the contents of the assessment of the implementation of socio -economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security and the activities of judicial agencies in the first 6 months of the year and the key directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Accordingly, the leaders of the Provincial People's Council carefully studied the reports, focused on discussing and thoroughly assessing the implementation of tasks, clarifying the achieved results, drawing experiences in the process of leadership, direction, administration and implementation.

At the same time, frankly point out the limitations, weaknesses and causes, including subjective causes in the implementation organization. At the same time, make accurate and accurate forecasts of the situation, clearly see the opportunities, advantages, as well as the difficulties and challenges in the remaining months of 2024 to review and decide on the main tasks and solutions to achieve and exceed the targets and tasks according to the set plan.

The People's Council also discussed, reviewed and passed 18 resolutions on the socio-economic fields of the province and the activities of the Provincial People's Council according to the meeting agenda that the Provincial People's Council delegates had just voted to pass. At the same time, the Provincial People's Council will supervise through reviewing and giving opinions on the report of the Provincial People's Council Supervision Delegation on the medium-term public investment plan of the provincial budget and the list of key projects of the province in the period of 2021 - 2025; the supervision report of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on resolving voters' petitions. The Provincial People's Council also spent adequate time to conduct a question-and-answer session with members of the Provincial People's Committee on issues of interest to voters, people and Provincial People's Council delegates.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh said that the 24th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council has many important contents, ensuring the development of the province in the remaining time of 2024 and the following years. Therefore, he requested that the Provincial People's Council delegates uphold their sense of responsibility and carefully study the contents presented at the session.

Based on the reality of the industry, field and locality, we request that the delegates of the Provincial People's Council actively participate in discussions, contribute many enthusiastic, quality opinions, with concise but focused content; conduct correct and accurate questioning of issues that voters are interested in, contributing to the overall success of the session, meeting the expectations of voters and people of the province.
