Opening of the exam to select excellent students of grades 6, 7, 8 in Ha Giang city

On the morning of March 31, at Minh Khai Secondary School, the Departmentof Education and Training of Ha Giang City held the opening ceremony of the city-level exam to select excellent students in grades 6, 7, and 8 for the 2024-2025 school year.

The exam was attended by 820 students from grades 6, 7, and 8 from 8 secondary schools in the city. The students registered to choose 1 of 4 subjects: Math, Natural Science , Literature, and English. The city's excellent student exam this year had a higher percentage of students than previous school years.

In recent years, building a team of excellent students has become an important, practical, and central task of the city's education sector, with the goal of striving to always be the leading unit in the whole province in training high-quality, key education.

Students register to choose 1 of 4 subjects: Math, Natural Science, Literature and English.

Through this exam, the city's education sector will have an opportunity to select and discover the outstanding intellectual abilities of students in each grade, and at the same time, it will also be an opportunity to evaluate the quality of teaching and learning in each school, contributing to promoting the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning.
