Thai Nguyen Provincial Leaders Open 2025 Tourist Season |
Attending the program were Mr. Ho An Phong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of Thai Nguyen province; representatives of tourism industry from provinces and cities across the country and many domestic and international tourists.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee shared: Thai Nguyen tourism season 2025 is a special occasion to introduce and promote the beautiful land and people of Thai Nguyen, rich in cultural identity. With the richness and diversity of activities and unique tourism products, the program is expected to create good impressions, leaving a deep mark in the hearts of the community and tourists from all over the world.

“Thai Nguyen province is known as “The First Famous Tea”, the cradle of famous tea products. The province always focuses on promoting the cultural and economic value of tea trees in association with developing tourism products,” Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized.
Thai Nguyen province is famous for its green mountains and blue waters, endowed by nature and history with many unique landscapes, historical and cultural relics. Notable are the Dinh Hoa National Special Relic Site, the Ly Nam De Relic Site..., red addresses for educating revolutionary traditions.

Thai Nguyen also has Nguom Stone Roof, one of the famous archaeological sites in Vietnam; the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures, which preserves the cultural identity of the Vietnamese community. The Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Conservation Area was recognized by the World Tourism Organization as one of the 32 “Best Tourist Villages in the World” in 2022 and is one of the first two 5-star OCOP tourism products in the country.
Along with that, Thai Nguyen province has community and rural tourism destinations associated with poetic tea areas and natural beauty on the eastern slope of Tam Dao. Nui Coc Lake is considered as "Ha Long Bay on land" - a highlight for developing cultural tourism, eco-tourism and resorts.
Within the framework of the opening ceremony, many special activities took place such as: Street art activities associated with intangible cultural performances; Hot air balloon performance; Organizing the National Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship; Operating a tourist train from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen; and Space for displaying and promoting tourism products and the program "Thai Nguyen culinary quintessence....

Towards the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Program with the theme "Vietnam - go to love", Thai Nguyen launched the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week with a series of unique cultural, sports and tourism activities.
