Expelled from the Party the Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and former Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee

On January 31, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the 13th Party Central Committee met to review and decide on personnel work.

The Party Central Committee considered disciplining Mr. Tran Duc Quan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, for the following violations:

Mr. Tran Duc Quan and Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien have degraded in political ideology, morality, lifestyle; are negative; violate Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and exemplary responsibilities.

Mr. Tran Duc Quan, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, former Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

The violations of Mr. Tran Duc Quan and Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien have caused very serious consequences, public outrage, and have had a very negative impact on the reputation of the Party organization and local government.

Based on the content, nature, level, and consequences of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Party Central Committee decided to expel Mr. Tran Duc Quan and Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien from the Party.

The Party Central Committee assigned the Politburo to direct relevant agencies to implement procedures according to regulations.
