The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City coordinated with Emirates Airlines, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) and related units to organize a program to welcome this flight.
Flight EK370 landed at Da Nang International Airport at 7:50 p.m. on June 2, with 333 international passengers on board a Boeing 777 - a wide-body aircraft with three classes of seating.
This is the first flight in Emirates' regular operating schedule on the Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang route, with a frequency of 4 flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Immediately after landing, the plane was greeted with a water cannon ceremony. Passengers enjoyed a traditional art performance, were given flowers and souvenirs as a warm welcome, showing hospitality and contributing to promoting the image of Da Nang - a safe, friendly and attractive destination.

This flight route not only promotes tourism development but also expands opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment and economic and cultural exchange, contributing to spreading the promotion of Da Nang to the world with the message "Discover the stories of Danang".
Mr. Nabil Sultan - Executive Vice President of Passenger Business and Country Management of Emirates said: “The launch of this route is an important step in Emirates' growth strategy in Southeast Asia, as well as reinforcing our commitment to providing seamless connectivity to support Vietnam's long-term trade and tourism goals.”
Emirates is considered the largest and most extensive airline in the Middle East with great potential, up to 4,100 flights/week from Dubai International Airport to 140 cities in more than 80 countries around the world.
Emirates is also the largest airline in the world by passenger traffic, kilometres flown and second in cargo (by distance).
In Vietnam, Emirates Airlines is operating 25 flights/week, specifically: Hanoi - Dubai with a frequency of 7 flights/week; Ho Chi Minh City - Dubai with a frequency of 14 flights/week and currently Da Nang with a frequency of 4 flights/week.
