Viewers will be able to watch 'Red Rain' at home.

The movie Red Rain - a historical war film that made history at the Vietnamese box office will be shown on TV 360. And so, audiences will be able to watch the movie at home.

With a revenue of over 700 billion VND, Red Rain by director Dang Thai Huyen became the highest-grossing Vietnamese film of all time. After leaving theaters, Red Rain was shown for free in some provinces and cities with limited screenings.

Recently, within the framework of the series of activities of Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days , the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Con Dao Special Zone authorities and related units also organized free screenings of Red Rain to serve the people and soldiers in this area on November 14 and 15.

Red Rain is also the film chosen to open the 24th Vietnam Film Festival in Ho Chi Minh City. According to information from the organizing committee, the film will be shown at 2 p.m. on November 21 at Galaxy Nguyen Du (Ho Chi Minh City). Tickets will be distributed free of charge from November 15, with each audience member receiving a maximum of 2 tickets. Especially after the screening, the audience will interact with the film crew.

According to the latest information, on November 17, Red Rain will be shown exclusively on TV 360 with 4K quality. Many viewers expressed their excitement at being able to watch the movie at home: "My child finally got to see it. He's been waiting for it because he's not old enough to go to the theater yet"; "Waiting for the 17th to see this movie because I haven't had the chance to see it yet. I have to tell my dad to watch it too"; "I've already seen it, but if it's free and can be watched at home, I promise to watch it at least 2 more times"; "I think Red Rain should be shown publicly on TV like this. I really want to go see it, but I have a small child and no one to look after him, so in the end I still can't watch it in the theater."

When Thanh Nien reporter contacted director Dang Thai Huyen, she said that the two sides were discussing and would likely meet the audience's expectations. On his personal page, actor Hua Vi Van also posted this information.

Red Rain is a war-themed film adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Chu Lai, recreating the 81-day-and-night war at the ancient citadel of Quang Tri with emotional, tragic scenes about the sacrifices and noble ideals of the young soldiers of Squad 1. The film did not have a "box office star" but created a "fever" when it was released in theaters thanks to the authenticity in each frame about war as well as the humane message of the film's story.
