Vietnam team practices in Viet Tri in the bitter cold
On the afternoon of December 14, the Vietnamese team had an official training session at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho Province) - where coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will welcome the Indonesian team, at 8:00 p.m. on December 15. This is also the last practice session of the Vietnamese boys, before entering the important match with the team from the archipelago country. The temperature is currently low because it is winter in the North.

The match in the third round of Group B is considered a very important match for both teams. Whoever wins this match will have a big advantage in the competition for a ticket to the semi-finals of the AFF Cup 2024 as the top team in Group B.
Before the Vietnam - Indonesia match, what should coach Kim Sang-sik be wary of?
The Vietnamese team has many advantages in the confrontation with Indonesia. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will play at home in Viet Tri, with the cheers of tens of thousands of spectators. The atmosphere of the Vietnamese team's training session was quite comfortable. Quang Hai paired up with naturalized striker Nguyen Xuan Son. These two players "confronted" each other in exercises on the ability to compete and press.
Regarding the opponent, Mr. Kim commented: "I see that Indonesia has many young players who should unite in the midfield. However, the Vietnamese team is preparing well and hopes to play well. Indonesia is quite tired and not physically strong. We will take advantage to pressure Indonesia and win.
Many people think that the Vietnamese team will win big. I do not deny this thought or opinion, but to be honest, I do not care if the score is 1, 2 or 3 goals. I know how difficult it is to score goals in the AFF Cup 2024. Although Indonesia is tired after a long journey, the participating teams are all very strong. Indonesia has many young players with a desire to prove themselves. We just prepare the best to aim for victory."
Nguyen Filip was on the bench in the opening match. He must be eager to show his performance in the important match between Vietnam and Indonesia.
Tien Linh scored the opening goal in the match against Laos.
Nguyen Van Toan also left his mark at the AFF Cup 2024, with a goal against the Laos team.
