The Government Office has just issued Document No. 5256/VPCP-KGVX dated June 12, 2025 on continuing to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
In the dispatch, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of National Defense to preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of Public Security, Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to urgently complete and issue the Project on military parades and marches in June 2025. At the same time, well organize training, joint training, military parades, marches and related tasks; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation status before July 15, 2025.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently develop a scenario for the management of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade and march; develop a logo, identity set, and emblem as gifts for meetings of Party and State leaders on the occasion of the anniversary; develop a plan to establish a Press Center to direct and orient information on the anniversary activities, especially the Anniversary Ceremony, parade and march; prepare to organize a special art program and related tasks; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation status before July 31, 2025.
The Ministry of Public Security presides over and coordinates with the Ministry of National Defense, the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to develop a plan to ensure absolute security and safety for commemorative activities, especially key activities with the participation of leaders, former leaders of the Party, State and international delegates.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently complete the Plan to invite international delegates, foreign press reporters, and forces from other countries to attend the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, march and commemorative activities, and submit it to the Secretariat in June 2025.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Health to preside over and coordinate with the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to develop a plan to ensure good medical work, and have a plan to take care of the health of leaders, former leaders of the Party and State, delegates attending the Anniversary Ceremony, parades, marches and other anniversary activities; paying special attention to ensuring food hygiene and safety, and people's health before, during and after the anniversary.
The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to develop a plan to launch a patriotic emulation movement and provide guidance on emulation and reward work on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); promptly synthesize and advise competent authorities to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and serving the celebration, parade, and march of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The Government leader also assigned Vietnam Television to preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to prepare well for the live broadcast of: Anniversary ceremonies, parades, marches; Live TV bridge; Special art programs and a number of other anniversary activities; focusing on further improving the image quality in live broadcasts of key activities, especially Anniversary ceremonies, parades, marches.
The Voice of Vietnam Radio Station presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies to prepare well for the live broadcast of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, march, and reporting on the anniversary activities.
The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences presides over and coordinates with the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently issue a Plan to organize a national scientific conference in June 2025.
Hanoi sets off fireworks and organizes many activities on the occasion of National Day September 2
On this occasion, Hanoi city will coordinate with the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences to organize a National Scientific Conference to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to design a logo and identity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; organize an exhibition of socio-economic achievements; special art programs and cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities to celebrate; and a poster design contest to promote the event.
In addition, Hanoi City organized emulation movements, made achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; successfully implemented the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress of the City; associated with promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" and building "Elegant and civilized Hanoians". Organized revolutionary history education activities at schools and relics in the city, promoted the country and people of Vietnam, the heroic and civilized Capital to students; visited and presented gifts to people with meritorious services.
In addition, Hanoi City also plans to organize fireworks displays at 5 locations (Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium, West Lake) in the form of traditional and artistic fireworks; film screenings to serve the people of the capital.
