According to the latest statistics of the Vietnam Road Administration, storm No. 11 caused damage to national highways and expressways managed, operated and exploited by Road Management Area 1, especially the section passing through Thai Nguyen province.

National Highway 3 through Thai Nguyen province (points coinciding with Ho Chi Minh road) still has 2 traffic jams due to landslides on positive and negative slopes.

Currently, the Vietnam Road Administration has sent a working group with the Road Management Area I to organize the re-opening of 22 locations. Currently, one lane of traffic has been ensured at 12 locations on National Highway 3 where landslides caused traffic jams.

However, there are still 5 damaged roadbeds due to subsidence, horizontal cracks and the risk of landslides. These locations are still open to one-way traffic. The water has now receded at 3 flooded locations on National Highway 3, the section that coincides with Ho Chi Minh Road, and traffic is back to normal.

For the Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi BOT Project (Thai Nguyen province), there are 4 traffic jams. In addition, the landslide at Km 97+700 has a landslide volume of about 2,500 m3 and is currently being repaired by units. Particularly, the landslide at Km 104+200 has a landslide volume of about 750 m3, but there is no traffic jam.
