Khanh Hoa bans the sea from 7am on November 28 until further notice.

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches, People's Committees of communes, wards, coastal special zones and organizations and individuals to urgently and strictly comply with the sea ban order, from 7:00 a.m. on November 28 until further notice.

On November 27, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a document to implement a sea ban to respond to storm No. 15. Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of communes, wards, and coastal special zones is required to announce a ban on ships and boats: tourist ships, transport ships, fishing vessels and other means of transport operating and traveling at sea. The time to start sensing is from 7:00 a.m. on November 28 until further notice.

The calling and arrangement of vehicles to shelters, storm preparation and fishermen on rafts and anchored boats must return to shore (mandatory) must be completed before 6:00 p.m. on November 28.

The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requested the Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Director of the Department of Construction, the Department of Fisheries and Islands to coordinate with coastal localities to closely monitor information on weather developments to proactively notify fishermen (vehicle owners) to resume transportation and fishing activities at sea after the storm, and to have appropriate production plans to ensure safety when practicing their profession.

Regarding ensuring the safety of people and vehicles operating at sea, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of communes, wards, coastal special zones, relevant agencies and units to direct units, organizations and individuals related to ship repair and building activities and other maritime transport activities to implement disaster prevention, control and search and rescue work according to the established plan.

Relevant agencies, units and coastal localities shall carry out propaganda work, instruct organizations and individuals engaged in fishing and aquatic product exploitation at sea to strictly comply with notices, calls and instructions for boats to enter storm shelters and anchorages of relevant agencies and units. Absolutely do not allow people to stay on boats, aquaculture cages and watchtowers.

Upon receiving the ban on sea travel, the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches, People's Committees of communes, wards, coastal special zones and organizations and individuals to urgently and strictly comply.
