With a typical hot and dry climate, localities in the southern region of Khanh Hoa province are promoting the development of agricultural tourism by introducing and developing new varieties of fresh grapes.
In Ninh Phuoc commune, Mr. Tong Minh Hai is one of the pioneer farmers applying high technology to grape cultivation.
On an area of about 1 hectare, Mr. Hai grows 6 grape varieties according to VietGAP standards and applies greenhouse technology to proactively adapt to climate change.
Currently, the farm grows 6 new grape varieties including Black Summer, Black Finger, Peony, Green, Japanese Pink, and Passion grapes. These grape varieties flower easily, produce large clusters, large fruits, and beautiful fruit appearance, so they are very popular with tourists.
Thanks to the application of high-tech agricultural models, Mr. Hai's family's vineyard is always full of fruit, with a beauty similar to that of grape farms in Europe, attracting many tourists to visit and enjoy grapes in the garden.
Not only Ninh Phuoc, Thai An grape village with an area of about 200 hectares, located in Vinh Hai commune, on provincial road 702 leading to Nui Chua National Park, is also an ideal stopover for tourists./.
