Inauguration of rural traffic bridge and giving Tet gifts to policy families in Dong Hai district

On the morning of December 22, Dinh Thanh commune (Dong Hai district) coordinated with the sponsoring unit to inaugurate the Nga Ba Mieu rural traffic bridge in Lung Chim hamlet and gave Tet gifts to policy families in Dinh Thanh and Dinh Thanh A communes.

Attending the event were Ms. Tu Thi Kim Thanh - member of the Board of Members of Agribank ; Ms. Phung Thi Binh - Deputy General Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank); Mr. Duong Quoc Su - Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Bac Lieu province branch and Mr. Nguyen Van Sang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Hai district.

The Nga Ba Mieu rural bridge is 40m long, 3.3m wide, reinforced concrete structure, spanning the river connecting the road from Cay Gia hamlet (Dinh Thanh commune) to Hoang Minh hamlet (An Trach commune) with a total construction cost of 450 million VND - supported by the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. The inauguration and putting into use of the Nga Ba Mieu bridge aims to create favorable conditions for people to travel, especially students to go to school safely, easy trading of goods, promoting socio -economic development, especially contributing significantly to Dinh Thanh commune completing the criteria for building advanced new rural areas this year.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development also presented 100 Lunar New Year gifts to policy families in Dinh Thanh and Dinh Thanh A communes, each gift including a gift worth 200,000 VND and 800,000 VND in cash.
