Inauguration of "Comradely Love" house for disadvantaged veterans

(QBĐT) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 29, the Provincial Veterans Association held an inauguration ceremony and handed over 2 "Comradely Love" houses to disadvantaged Veterans Association members in Quang Trach district.

The two members who received support this time are Mr. Dam Cong Thanh (born in 1956, in Quang Chau commune) and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang (born in 1954, in Quang Hung commune). Both veterans come from poor families and have had to live in seriously degraded level 4 houses for many years, but have no means to repair them.

After nearly 2 months of construction, up to now, 2 new houses have been completed and put into use with an area of ​​over 60m2/house. Of which, the Veterans Association supported 80 million VND from the "Comradeship" Fund of the Provincial Veterans Association.

Also this morning, the Provincial Veterans Association directly visited and presented gifts to veteran members who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country, Mr. Tran Phuong Ve (Quang Chau commune) and Mr. Tuong Dinh Vu (Quang Tung commune).

It is known that on this occasion, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense presented 70 gifts to the War Veterans Association of Quang Binh province, each gift worth 1.2 million VND.
