Inauguration of the construction of "House of Gratitude" for near-poor households in Thuong Ly ward, Hong Bang district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of May 13, Thuong Ly Ward, Hong Bang District held the inauguration ceremony for the construction of "Houses of Gratitude" for near-poor households in the ward in 2025. This is a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025).

Leaders of Thuong Ly ward presented gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Khot.

Thuong Ly Ward has inaugurated the construction of a "House of Gratitude" for a near-poor household, the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Khot, at 32 C58 Tan Thuat Residential Group. The house the family is living in was built a long time ago, with an area of 37.5 m2 and has deteriorated, making it difficult to move around, greatly affecting the family's daily life.

Delegates pulled the ribbon to inaugurate the house.

After more than 1 month of construction, the house has been completed with 1 floor and 1 mezzanine, spacious, neat and warm. This is the first house to fulfill the 2025 house construction and renovation target of Thuong Ly ward (after merging 2 wards of Ha Ly and Trai Chuoi into Thuong Ly ward).

Supporting the construction of houses for households in difficult circumstances is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, not only helping families reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives, but also demonstrating the noble gesture, solidarity and affection of all levels, sectors and the whole community. Thereby helping her family rebuild a more solid and sturdy house, contributing to ensuring social security in the ward./.
