This year’s race is not only a sports playground for the masses, but also a journey to explore, connect and honor the unique cultural and natural values of the ancient capital. In particular, the race combines community activities with the donation of a house of gratitude to Mrs. Bui Thi Giap, a disadvantaged household in Ninh Giang ward, Hoa Lu city.

The tournament is expected to attract more than 3,500 athletes, including professional athletes and sports enthusiasts from all over the country. The tournament will take place on August 31, with four distances: 3km, 5km, 10km and 21km. Athletes will experience the running route through the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex - World Cultural and Natural Heritage, while admiring the beauty of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Tam Coc rice fields...
At the press conference, the Organizing Committee introduced the official song of the race, "Running in the Heart of Heritage", along with the race identity including the competition shirt, medals, electronic certificates and the race route map. All are designed in a modern, neat and imbued with local identity.
According to the Organizing Committee, Ninh Binh Heritage Half Marathon 2025 is one of the five major races of the province in 2025, aiming to promote tourism , spread the message of healthy living, love of nature and promote community responsibility.

Immediately after the press conference, the official registration portal opened at 3:30 p.m. on April 28 on the tournament's website and fanpage.
At the press conference, many questions were raised by reporters about the organization plan in case the number of athletes exceeded expectations, the meaning of the theme "Running in the heart of heritage", as well as the social value of activities combining sports with charity.
The race promises to become a vibrant sports festival, contributing to raising awareness of health training, connecting the community and promoting the image of Ninh Binh - a green, peaceful and unique destination.
