"When receiving an order from the Cha2o milk tea and fruit brand in California (USA), our group was both happy and scared. Happy because people liked the brand identity, scared because we didn't know if it was a scam or not. The group had never worked with a foreign brand before, and the geographical distance was too far" - Luong Anh Nhi, a group member, shared.

The project team includes Luong Anh Nhi, Do Phu Dat, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Phan Tran Le Vy, students of Van Lang University. In addition, the project also has support from Nguyen Vo Truong Quan - an international student at Highline College, USA.
Nhi said that from the course's brand identity, the group "upgraded" more details to suit the customer's requirements. Because they worked online, most of the group members were final year students, so the project took nearly a year to complete.
"If we have time to focus, we can easily shorten the project progress. Working with foreign customers for the first time, the team wants to bring the most impressive and professional designs" - Nhi shared.

Ms. Hoang Thi Anh Nghi, the group's instructor, said that most art students are creative and imaginative, and like to design products that have a strong personal touch. On the contrary, brands want products that are commercial and memorable to the majority.
"Ensuring the above two factors and reconciling all the ideas of each member in the group is not easy. When working together, students will learn foreign language skills, negotiate contracts and have products to sell to the market, helping students become more confident and easily adapt to the labor market after graduation" - Master Anh Nghi said.

Talking about the "closing price" of more than 100 million VND, the group said that the US market has a higher salary for the design team than Vietnam.
The above cost is completely worthy of the group's efforts, and it is also a stepping stone to promote members' development in the profession. After the project, experience is the most valuable thing the group receives.
According to Ms. Anh Nghi, this is not the first time that Graphic Design students have sold products while still in school. However, in the past, the products were sold at "student" prices.
This is the first time a group of students has been contacted by a foreign brand to work. This has great spiritual value, creating motivation for design students.
