Groundbreaking ceremony for the Great Unity House

(CT) - On March 28, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cai Rang District coordinated to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a Great Unity House for Mr. Lam Huu Qui's family, a household with extremely difficult housing circumstances, residing in Area 6, Hung Thanh Ward. This is a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cai Rang District.

Delegates presented gifts and took souvenir photos with Mr. Lam Huu Qui's family at the groundbreaking ceremony for the house construction.

The house has a construction area of over 40 square meters, with a construction cost of 60 million VND, drawn from the Fund for the Poor of Cai Rang District. At the groundbreaking ceremony, the district and ward presented the family with many gifts including rice and necessities.

Since the beginning of the year, Cai Rang district has built 5 new Great Unity houses, with a total value of more than 320 million VND.
