Mr. Nguyen Van Hao started his apricot growing business from his passion for ornamental plants.

As a passionate "follower" of bonsai, after quitting his job, Mr. Hao spent a lot of time living with that passion. He chose the apricot tree to start his startup model. With the enthusiasm and passion of youth, he researched the techniques of growing apricot trees through social networking sites and learned from the experiences of those who went before. To start a successful business, he started researching the techniques of planting, caring, shaping, how to "raise" embryos and nurture seedlings. Growing and caring for apricot trees not only requires techniques or experience but also requires the enthusiasm of the grower. He often researches the tastes of bonsai players to grasp the market and produce suitable products.

Having the opportunity to visit Mr. Hao's apricot garden, we felt his love for ornamental plants. Each leaf, trunk, and branch were skillfully pruned, cared for, and shaped by him. Up to now, after 3 years of starting his business, Mr. Hao owns more than 70 finished apricot trees and 800 baby apricot trees. To have the beautiful apricot garden like today, he spent time searching for new, unique, and strange varieties. Currently, the apricot variety that he is most fond of belongs to the super flower line because of its beautiful color, large flowers, and many petals.

To reach the market, Mr. Hao applied digital transformation to business, building the Mai graft Hao Nguyen YouTube channel to share his experience in taking care of plants. This method helps him promote his products more widely to consumers, reaching many different customer groups.

Mr. Hao shared that he graduated and worked at a company specializing in refrigeration. When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, he quit his job and returned to his hometown. This was also a major turning point when he decided to "leave the city and return to the countryside" and determined to pursue his passion for growing apricot trees. "Learning from my failures, I am careful and meticulous in caring for and shaping the trees. Thanks to that, my family's apricot trees are known by many people. The most important thing is that I get to live with my passion" - Mr. Hao confided.

Currently, Mr. Hao's apricot garden creates seasonal jobs for 3-5 local workers.
