Subject Tong Thi Thuy Linh at the police station

Previously, on February 8, Tong Thi Thuy Linh brought the certificate of land use rights, house ownership rights and assets attached to land (called the pink book) under Linh's name to Bao Tin pawn shop (address in Thuan Hoa ward) to mortgage for a loan of 200 million VND.

The pawn shop owner agreed to lend Linh 100 million VND in advance. The remaining 100 million VND was scheduled to be transferred in full on February 10 when he went to the notary office to certify the loan. After discussion and agreement, the pawn shop owner transferred 95.5 million VND to Linh, and the remaining 4.5 million VND was the interest collected in advance for 1 year.

On the appointed day, both of them went to the notary office to complete the paperwork and discovered that the pink book was suspected to be fake, so the pawnshop owner reported it to the police. At the investigation agency, Linh confessed that the pink book she had pawned was a fake book that she had ordered from someone on Facebook for 20 million VND.

Currently, Thuan Hoa Ward Police are consolidating the case file to handle the subject according to the law.
