The 2025 National 7-a-side Football Cup kicks off

The Hyundai Thanh Cong 2025 National 7-a-side Football Cup will start the qualifying round in mid-November, and the final round in late November to early December.

Grassroots football is becoming more and more professional.

On October 9, Vietfootball Joint Stock Company announced the start of the Hyundai Thanh Cong 2025 National 7-a-side Football Cup. This is the 5th time the tournament has been held, and this year it continues to promise to be exciting as it gathers strong teams from all 3 regions.

In the qualifying round, the North has 20 teams participating, including representatives from: Hanoi , Thai Nguyen, Ha Tinh, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh. The South has 16 teams from Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of the West, Southeast, and Central Highlands. The Central region has 8 teams competing.

After competing in the 3-region qualifying round, the 8 teams with the best results will qualify for the national final round. The Northern qualifying round will start from October 12 to November 23 at the C500 football field of the Security Academy, Ha Dong ward, Hanoi.

The Central region qualifying round takes place from October 19 to November 16 at Dam Sen Stadium, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang. The Southern region qualifying round starts from October 11 to November 15 at Gia Dinh Stadium - Cultural and Sports Service Supply Center, Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the press conference, the representative of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that the development of grassroots football playgrounds will contribute to promoting the development of football in the community, thereby creating a more solid foundation for professional football. Deputy Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Training, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh highly appreciated the professionalism in organizing the tournament, the spread of the tournament, contributing to building a healthy lifestyle.

The 2025 National 7-a-side Football Cup Finals will take place from November 29 to December 7 at the same stadium.
