Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship kicks off: Testing forces for SEA Games 33

The 2025 Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship kicked off in Da Nang on the afternoon of May 19. This year, the tournament set a record in scale with more than 200 players (22 delegations) competing in 7 events: men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh presented souvenir flags to the participating delegations.

The total prize value of the tournament is up to 500 million VND. In addition to 28 official prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded 2 promising young athletes and special prizes for localities with strong development movements and the tournament host.

The men's and women's team events will take place first.

According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament promises high professional quality because it gathers all national players and young players who have just achieved outstanding results at the 2025 Southeast Asian Youth Championship. In particular, this is an opportunity to screen and select members of the national team for the conquest at the 33rd SEA Games at the end of the year.

The tournament runs until May 25.
