Since the end of the school year, all sectors and levels in the province have organized many exciting activities to bring children a joyful, rewarding and safe summer.
Bustling since early summer
Since the end of May - when students have just completed the school year program, activities for children have been organized consecutively. Among them, the Dong Nai Province STEM Robotics Competition 2025, jointly organized by the Provincial Youth Union and Sondezi College of Technology and Management, attracted 119 teams with 238 contestants.
As one of the contestants, Tran Vi Kiet, Minh Duc Secondary School (Bac Son Commune, Trang Bom District), said he was very happy and excited to participate in the STEM Robotics Competition. This is not only an opportunity to experience, but also helps him learn how to program effectively, think logically, and practice perseverance, accumulate experience to be more confident in future competitions. Kiet hopes that this playground will be held more regularly and on a larger scale so that more students have the opportunity to try their hand.
According to the representative of the Provincial Youth Union, in order for more children to have fun during the summer, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union have organized 3 Children's Day programs in Bien Hoa city, Vinh Cuu district and Tan Phu district. From now until the end of June, this program will continue to be organized in Trang Bom district and Xuan Loc district.
In addition to the creative playground, children are also given the opportunity to express their talents. In particular, Dong Nai Children's House and Bien Hoa City Youth Union have coordinated to organize a Drawing Contest with the theme of International Children's Day - My Dream. The contest not only contributes to creating more playgrounds during the summer, but also creates opportunities for children to freely draw their dreams about their careers, about a peaceful world , no more poverty, a green, clean, beautiful city, a happy home...
At Dong Nai Children's House, on International Children's Day, the Children's Playground took place with a series of activities: folk games, creative games, Rubik's competition, young historians, chess solutions, foreign language games, STEM, Robotics... At the same time, there was also a swimming competition for children and teenagers and propaganda on drowning prevention for children and parents in the summer.
Need cooperation from many sides
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha said that this year, there is no longer a summer steering committee at all levels, but the Youth Union and Young Pioneer organizations still proactively coordinate with relevant sectors and units to organize summer activities for children in a flexible and effective manner, contributing to bringing children a safe, healthy summer with many meaningful experiences.

In particular, summer activities will focus on 3 main groups of content. These are legal propaganda, moraleducation , history and revolutionary traditions through journeys to the source, gratitude activities, and remembering the source of water. Focusing on training life skills and social practice skills is promoted through military semester programs, summer skill camps, swimming classes, propaganda on preventing injuries, drowning, etc. At the same time, maintaining and innovating learning, talent, hobby and integration clubs right at schools and localities.
Director of Dong Nai Children's House Truong Hai Thi said that Dong Nai Children's House is a destination for children during the summer. Therefore, to ensure that summer activities take place continuously, Dong Nai Children's House has developed a plan to organize activities for each summer month. In addition to direct activities, this summer, Dong Nai Children's House has increased the organization of online activities, creating conditions for children in all districts and cities to participate throughout the summer.
