Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area Management Board issued Notice No. 246/TB-BQLTBG dated August 25, 2024 advising tourists to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall.

Prolonged heavy rain causes flooding in Ban Gioc waterfall area, tourists need to strictly implement safety measures.

Due to heavy rain in recent days, the water level at Ban Gioc waterfall, Dam Thuy commune (Trung Khanh) has risen and may pose a potential safety risk. The floodwaters are flowing strongly, making it difficult to move around and visit the waterfall area.

To ensure the safety of all visitors to Ban Gioc Waterfall, the Management Board of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area recommends that visitors planning to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall should pay attention to regularly update weather conditions and flood warnings from authorities and the media.

Please keep a safe distance and do not approach dangerous areas such as river banks or areas with strong currents. Strictly follow warning signs and safety ropes posted around dangerous areas.

Follow staff instructions: listen to and follow the instructions of resort staff and lifeguards. Follow safety measures that have been disseminated in case of emergency. Avoid water activities: do not participate in water activities such as rafting, swimming, or climbing on slippery rocks.
