Comrade Nguyen Van Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee listened to the progress report on the implementation of the investment project to build, renovate, upgrade and expand the Social Work Center and Children's Support Fund of Hoa Binh province.
The two inspection projects include: Investment project to build, renovate, upgrade and expand the Social Work Center (CTXH) and the Provincial Children's Support Fund in Ky Son ward and the Hoa Binh City Medical Center (part of the investment project for 3 district-level Medical Centers).
The Social Work Center and Children's Protection Fund project has a total investment of 80 billion VND, started in July 2023, and completed construction in December 2024. Currently, the investor is completing procedures and waiting for fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) acceptance. The project includes the following items: nursing home for the elderly, orphans, activity house, dining room, therapy house and other auxiliary items.
Hoa Binh City Medical Center project is built with 7 floors, floor area of over 3,300m², completed according to current standards; completed construction in December 2024, awaiting fire safety acceptance to put into use.
Comrade Nguyen Van Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation inspected the construction of Hoa Binh City Medical Center.
At the meeting, delegates evaluated the results achieved and pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, such as: fire prevention and fighting acceptance procedures, transformer station installation, landscape and tree arrangement, and completion of facilities before handover and putting into use.
Concluding the inspection, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the investor and related units in the implementation of the two projects. He emphasized that these are important projects using capital from the central budget, so they need to be completed on schedule, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency. He requested the investor to promptly coordinate with departments, branches and managing units to review the departments and offices according to the design and work requirements; promptly hand over the project; completely resolve difficulties regarding the transformer station; accept fire prevention and fighting; plant more trees around the project, ensuring a green, clean and beautiful environment. During the process of putting the Hoa Binh City Medical Center project into use, the beneficiary unit focused on overcoming shortcomings, creating a landscape area, serving the medical examination and treatment needs of the people in the area.
