Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Quoc Thai commune has achieved 15/19 criteria (78.95%) and 53/57 targets (92.98%). At the meeting, delegates discussed and sought solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing unachieved criteria and targets, regarding: The rate of schools meeting the standards of facilities according to regulations; the locality only uses the commune People's Committee hall as a place for cultural activities and other playgrounds for mass sports activities, because it has not invested in building a cultural house or multi-purpose hall according to regulations; environmental and food safety indicators have not met the requirements; some criteria and targets need additional supporting documents...

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Ho Thanh Binh requested the departments in charge of each criterion to actively support the locality to resolve difficulties and obstacles as soon as possible. For the Office of Coordination for New Rural Construction in An Phu district and the Management Board for New Rural Construction in Quoc Thai commune, continue to propagate and mobilize people to be determined to implement the remaining criteria and targets so that Quoc Thai commune can soon meet the new rural standards according to the roadmap.
