An Giang Provincial Police Department awarded decisions on rank promotion and salary increase

On the afternoon of May 29, the Provincial Police solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision to promote ranks and raise the salary of the People's Police for comrades represented by the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to sign the decision.

Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Director of the Provincial Police Department, presented the decision to raise the salary to the rank of colonel to Colonel Le Phu Thanh and Colonel Bui Tan An, Deputy Directors of the Provincial Police Department.

Colonel Bui Tan An, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, presented the decision to promote the rank from major to lieutenant colonel.

Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, presented the decision to promote the rank from major to lieutenant colonel.

In 2025, An Giang Provincial Police will have 865 comrades promoted in rank and salary. Of these, 4 comrades are under the Ministry of Public Security's decision to promote in rank and salary. The Director of the Provincial Police Department signed the decision to promote in rank and salary in 2025 for 861 comrades.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Police Department Board of Directors presented decisions on promotion of ranks and salary increases to leaders and commanders at all levels, including: Raising the salary of 2 comrades to the rank of colonel; raising the salary of 15 comrades to the rank of lieutenant colonel; 2 comrades from lieutenant colonel to lieutenant colonel; 71 comrades from major to lieutenant colonel and 22 comrades from captain to major. In the remaining cases, the police of units and localities will organize the presentation of decisions to officers and soldiers in their units and localities. This is an annual activity of the Provincial Police force, the recognition of the Party and State for the work, efforts and training of each police officer and soldier in the whole province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Director of the Provincial Police Department, sent his congratulations to the comrades who received salary increases and promotions this time. At the same time, the Director of the Provincial Police Department emphasized that honor always goes hand in hand with responsibility.
