
The working group inspected the landslide causing traffic congestion on Tra Lam - Tra Hiep route, Thanh Bong commune.
Informing the working group, the representative of Thanh Bong Commune People's Committee said that there are currently 4 serious landslides on the route, with a total volume of more than 20,000 cubic meters of soil and rock. About 200 households with about 800 people are isolated. Currently, the locality is actively implementing the work of repairing and opening the road for people and vehicles to temporarily move back and forth.
After listening to the local situation report, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung acknowledged and commended Thanh Bong commune's efforts in proactively responding to the unusual developments of floods and rains; and at the same time shared the losses caused by floods and rains in the commune.
The Deputy Prime Minister directed the province's functional agencies to coordinate with local authorities to speed up the repair of landslides and soon open routes to create favorable conditions for people to travel safely and stabilize their lives.

The working group also visited and encouraged 62 households with 238 people in Tra Linh village who were evacuated to live at Huong Tra Kindergarten No. 1, Tay Tra Bong commune. Here, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the drastic action of Tay Tra Bong commune in evacuating and relocating people in a timely manner, preventing human losses, especially in areas with high risk of landslides.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung requested that the commune ensure adequate provision of essential goods for households temporarily staying at schools, so that no one goes hungry. In the long term, the commune needs to survey and immediately plan resettlement areas, move people back to live there; provide seedlings for people to restore production activities...
According to a report from the People's Committee of Tay Tra Bong Commune, through statistics, Provincial Road 622B, passing through Tra Linh Village, has a total of 14 large and small landslides; of which 11 have been temporarily handled. The locality also recorded 7 landslides on Provincial Road 626, passing through Vang Village; of which 3 caused traffic jams.
Particularly on the roads managed by the commune, there were 48 major landslides; of which 19 caused traffic jams. Seven houses were severely damaged by landslides. The commune also evacuated and relocated a total of 185 households with 696 people in areas at risk of high mountain landslides to safe shelters.
On this occasion, the delegation presented many gifts to the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Bong and Tay Tra Bong communes.
