Quoc Viet Commune, Trang Dinh District was chosen by the District Fatherland Front Committee to be the model congress to draw experience for communes and towns in the area. The model congress achieved results in accordance with the Charter and instructions of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and democracy, mobilizing the participation of Party committees, organizations and each citizen.
Mr. Luong Quoc Toan - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Trang Dinh district said that through the model Congress in Quoc Viet commune, it can be seen that the Party Committee, government and Fatherland Front at district and commune levels have directed urgently and resolutely in propaganda work, document preparation, and personnel work. In residential areas, people of all walks of life followed and welcomed the Congress through cultural and artistic movements, cleaning village roads and alleys, hanging flags, banners and slogans.
Through propaganda work, the Congress has created a social effect with a good impression, spreading throughout residential areas. News and propaganda articles about the Congress, typical and advanced examples in the activities of the Front in the locality broadcast on the radio system have helped people better understand the role of the Fatherland Front in gathering and mobilizing people to join hands to contribute to socio -economic development, building an increasingly prosperous homeland. Immediately after the model Congress in Quoc Viet commune, the Fatherland Front Committee of Trang Dinh district organized an assessment and drew experiences for localities in the district to successfully organize the grassroots Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029.
Also in January 2024, districts and cities in Lang Son province simultaneously organized model congresses at the commune level. Ms. Duong Le My - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Van Lang district said that immediately after the model congress of the Fatherland Front of Na Sam town, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of the district conducted an assessment and drew experience in the organization of the congress, logistics, propaganda work, and personnel to organize a better congress. Since the model congress, the whole district has had 13/17 bases successfully organizing the Fatherland Front Congress at the commune level.
Mr. Nong Luong Chan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province assessed that the organization of the model congresses was carried out seriously and strictly by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes, wards and towns in the area, in accordance with the regulations of the Charter and instructions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee. Up to now, 11/11 districts and cities in Lang Son province have successfully organized the model congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the grassroots level according to the schedule.
The Congress program was carefully prepared by localities, creating an impressive and exciting atmosphere. The content of the political report presented to the congress was carefully prepared by the units, objectively and comprehensively assessing the results achieved, advantages, limitations, causes and lessons learned in the past term. At the same time, a new term action program was proposed that was close to reality, closely following the spirit of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels and the political tasks of each locality.
The personnel introduced for consultation are typical people, representing all social classes, with prestige, capacity, high responsibility, representing the great national unity bloc. Accordingly, the number of members of the commune-level Fatherland Front Committee consulted at the model congress is from 30 to 55 people; the standing committee consists of 3 people including: chairman; vice chairman and standing member, ensuring the standards, conditions and composition structure, representativeness according to regulations.
After holding the grassroots model congresses, the Fatherland Fronts of districts and cities in Lang Son province organized a common experience sharing meeting. According to the plan, the commune-level Fatherland Front congress will be completed in April 2024; the district-level Fatherland Front congress will be completed in June 2024 and the provincial-level Fatherland Front congress will be held in August 2024.
