Timely extinguishing of fire at warehouse in residential area

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Province mobilized forces and vehicles to the scene, coordinated with the military and local people to put out the fire and transport goods from the ground floor of the building outside.

After nearly 1 hour of trying to put out the fire, the fire was brought under control.

Authorities also urgently evacuated people and property of several nearby households to prevent the fire from spreading, endangering people and property.

Because the house contained many flammable materials such as cardboard packaging, straw, foam cushions, etc., the fire burned very strongly, accompanied by a large column of black smoke. Firefighters broke down the door on the upper floor and continuously used high-powered water hoses to spray in. After nearly an hour, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.

Authorities promptly extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to surrounding areas.

According to the leader of Duc Trong District People's Committee, the house that caught fire was used by a family as a warehouse to store goods, including many ceramic items, and has been unoccupied for a long time.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it is likely due to an electrical leak.
