Rescuing a panicked woman trapped in an elevator

At around 7:40 a.m. on May 14, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Zone 5, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police received information that a woman was trapped in an elevator at a restaurant on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Ward 9, District 5, so they mobilized 2 specialized fire trucks and 12 officers and soldiers to the scene.

Through quick verification, the trapped person was Ms. MTT (born in 1972). In the tightly packed elevator, Ms. T. was extremely panicked and banged on the door for help.

The rescue team approached to calm Ms. T. and used a hydraulic device to break the elevator door to bring Ms. T. out safely.

Ward 5 police coordinated with relevant units to determine the cause of the elevator problem.
