Kon Tum adds 15 projects to the investment attraction list for the period 2021

Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee has just approved the addition of the List of projects to attract investment in Kon Tum province for the period 2021 - 2025. Of which, 8 projects are in the energy sector and 7 projects are in the urban development sector.

Notably, the energy sector projects are mostly hydropower projects, including: Nuoc Dao Hydropower Project, Dak Su 2 Hydropower Project, Dak Piu 1 Hydropower Project, Dak Rve Hydropower Project, Ta Au Hydropower Project, Dak Na Hydropower Project, Dak Nghe 3 Hydropower Project, Sac Ly - Kon Tum Wind Power Project (phase 1). The goal of these projects is to produce electricity, contribute to socio -economic development, and improve people's lives.

Meanwhile, 7 urban development projects are concentrated in Mang Den town, Kon Plong district, including Urban Area Projects No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. The goal is to invest in building an urban area with mixed-use functions, synchronous technical infrastructure, social infrastructure with housing or other construction works according to the construction planning approved by competent authorities; oriented to develop into a high-quality comprehensive tourism space, synchronous in technical infrastructure, facilities and services.

Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee assigns the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to effectively call for and attract investment into Kon Tum province; at the same time, develop an appendix describing investment attraction projects to serve the work of promoting and advertising investment, and post the content of this Decision on mass media.

The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to annually review and advise the Provincial People's Committee to adjust and supplement the List of investment attraction projects in accordance with the actual situation of the locality.
