PJICO Insurance dismisses general director after nearly 30 years

(Dan Tri) - PJICO simultaneously dismissed its general director and deputy general director. These are all personnel who have been with the company for nearly 30 years.

Petrolimex Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PJICO - stock code: PGI) recently announced changes in senior personnel of the company.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors of PJICO approved the appointment of Mr. Pham Thanh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJICO, as legal representative to replace Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang, General Director of PJICO.

The reason is that Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang no longer meets the standards according to current regulations to hold the position of legal representative.

In addition, the PJICO Board of Directors also issued a resolution to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang from the position of General Director. This dismissal is carried out in accordance with current regulations of law and the company's charter.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang, born in 1975, is said to have been with PJICO for nearly 28 years. Ms. Giang joined PJICO in July 1997 and has held many positions. In March 2022, Ms. Giang was appointed General Director of PJICO, succeeding Mr. Dao Nam Hai - who later became General Director of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex). In April 2022, Ms. Giang continued to be elected as a member of the Board of Directors of PJICO.

The PJICO Board of Directors also passed a resolution to dismiss Mr. Tran Hoai Nam from the position of Deputy General Director. Mr. Nam has also worked at PJICO for nearly 30 years. Before being appointed as Deputy General Director of PJICO in April 2023, Mr. Nam held the position of Head of the Motor Vehicle Insurance Department - now the Motor Vehicle Insurance Claims Appraisal Department.
