Kon Tum: Shop owner and staff violently closed the door and beat people

Suspecting someone of stealing a customer’s belongings, the owner and staff of Tun Garden restaurant used dangerous weapons to attack the victim. The police have intervened and summoned the relevant subjects for investigation.

On October 11, the Investigation Police Agency of Sa Thay District Police ( Kon Tum Province) is consolidating records and investigating the case of the owner of Tun Garden restaurant (village 2, Sa Thay town, Sa Thay district) and an employee who assaulted a person right at the restaurant.

The assaulted person is Mr. NMQ (born in 2008, residing in Ro Koi commune, Sa Thay district).

Previously, many clips were circulated on social media recording the scene of the victim being assaulted by a group of people at Tun Garden restaurant. In the clip, the group of attackers were extremely aggressive and continuously beat the victim. The incident was determined to have taken place on October 6.

After the incident, Sa Thay District Police summoned the group of suspects to clarify. During the working process at the police station, the suspects including HTD (born in 2007, residing in Sa Nhon commune, Sa Thay district), LND (born in 2006; residing in Ro Koi commune, Sa Thay district); HVTT (born in 2008) and MVL (born in 2001, both residing in Sa Thay town, Sa Thay district) confessed to using dangerous weapons such as knives, chairs, and helmets to beat the victim.

The initial cause was because the suspects suspected the victim of stealing a customer's belongings, so the subjects, who were employees and the owner of the shop, met the victim to talk, then beat the victim.
