Disciplinary action against former Vice Chairman of Phu Yen province for violations related to the AIC case

Mr. Tran Quang Nhat had violations and shortcomings in his work and the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee has taken party discipline.

The disciplinary period is calculated from the date of announcement of Decision No. 1142/2023 of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, on December 29, 2023, the Phu Yen Provincial Party Executive Committee met and decided to discipline Mr. Tran Quang Nhat, former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former member of the Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee, term 2011-2016, with a warning.

During the 2011-2016 term, Mr. Tran Quang Nhat was irresponsible, lax in leadership, direction, and inspection, leading to violations of legal regulations on bidding and implementation of a number of projects/bidding packages carried out by the International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC) and enterprises in the AIC ecosystem.
