
On November 27, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said this morning, during a visit and working session at China, the Ministry has signed a Protocol on exporting fresh jackfruit from Vietnam to China.
Accordingly, this morning, Minister Tran Duc Thang and a number of leaders of units under the Ministry had a working session with the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC).
Opening the working session, Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Customs of China Zhao Zenglian emphasized that the visit of Minister Tran Duc Thang and the Ministry's delegation to work with Chinese partners this time shows the effective cooperation between the two countries, including cooperation between the Ministry and the General Administration of Customs of China.
"I believe that after this working trip of the Minister, the cooperative relationship between the two sides will develop further, especially the two-way economic , social and trade relations," Mr. Trieu Tang Lien emphasized.
Citing the above viewpoint, Mr. Trieu Tang Lien said that trade agricultural products The two-way trade in 2025 has many bright spots. By the end of October 2025, China had imported 8.7 billion USD worth of agricultural products from Vietnam.
According to Mr. Lien, the above results show the close cooperation between the two sides, as well as the support and connection of the Vietnamese Embassy in China. At the same time, he affirmed that China always attaches importance to trade with Vietnam and is ready to open its doors to quality agricultural products from Vietnam.
"This year, we have signed four protocols on the export of chili, passion fruit, rice bran and raw bird's nest.
Today, we will sign the Protocol on exporting fresh jackfruit from Vietnam to China, which will create new momentum in developing agricultural trade between the two countries," Mr. Trieu Tang Lien affirmed.

Minister Tran Duc Thang expressed his joy when working with the General Department of Customs of China and affirmed that the cooperative relationship between the two sides has been strengthened in recent times.
According to Mr. Thang, the leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State always pay attention to strengthening and promoting cooperation with China in all fields, especially agricultural and environmental cooperation.
With the figures on two-way trade turnover in recent times, Mr. Tran Duc Thang affirmed that China is a very important import-export market for Vietnam.
From the Ministry's perspective, Mr. Thang said that cooperation with China in industry-related fields needs to be given more attention and promoted in the coming time.
Mr. Thang expressed his thanks to the General Department of Customs of China for their coordination and facilitation in signing the Protocol on fresh jackfruit export today.
Also within the framework of the working session, the two sides exchanged some additional professional contents related to the import and export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products between the two countries.
