Celebrating 50 years of liberation, Da Nang starts many big projects

Da Nang City will inaugurate and start construction of many large projects on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of Da Nang Liberation Day.

On March 14, the Department of Finance of Da Nang announced that on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), the City will organize the inauguration and groundbreaking of many large projects and works.

Accordingly, Da Nang City organized the technical opening of Quang Da Bridge and the bridge approach road, a project connecting the two localities of Da Nang and Quang Nam , with a total investment of more than 274 billion VND.

In addition, a sign will be posted for the project Renovation and upgrading of the 42 Bach Dang facility to build the Da Nang Museum, with an investment capital of more than 507 billion VND; and a sign will be posted for the Social Housing project for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street, with an investment capital of more than 223 billion VND.

Da Nang City also started many other important projects.

Specifically, the project to upgrade and renovate March 29 Park has an investment capital of more than 673 billion VND; the project to renovate the drainage system and lay underground information cables and lighting on 4 inner-city roads: Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Hoang Dieu, Ong Ich Khiem, has an investment capital of more than 281 billion VND.

Da Nang Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quang inspected the progress of preparations for the 50th anniversary of Da Nang City Liberation Day at Tien Son Sports Palace.

In addition, there is the project to upgrade and renovate the Ngu Hanh Son District Medical Center, with a total capital of more than 545 billion VND; the announcement of the project to build a statue of Uncle Ho in the campus of the Da Nang General Science Library...

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of Liberation Day, the City will organize a series of special activities and events.
