Lac Duong: Exciting patriotic emulation movements

People in remote communes of Lac Duong district actively participate in activities launched by the locality.

According to the People's Committee of Lac Duong district, the District Party Committee and People's Committee regularly pay attention to thoroughly grasping the Party's guiding viewpoints on innovating the content and methods of organizing and launching emulation movements, and the work of replicating advanced models. The content of launching emulation movements always closely follows the political tasks as well as the practical situation and specific tasks of each unit and locality; at the same time, focusing on key areas, key points, existing aspects and limitations to build emulation movements, in order to create motivation to promote the completion of political tasks and the implementation of the set socio-economic targets.

In particular, the emulation movement "Together with the whole country, Lam Dong joins hands to build new rural areas" in Lac Duong district has spread to all village roads and alleys, with the active participation of all classes of people in the area. Since then, the rural socio -economic infrastructure has been significantly improved; forms of production organization, production development models to increase people's income have been given attention, the material and spiritual life of rural people has been improved, social security has been ensured, the grassroots democracy regulations have been promoted, and the rural appearance has changed significantly. Up to now, the whole district has 5/5 communes meeting new rural standards, Lac Duong town has met civilized urban standards. In 2024, Da Sar commune was recognized as meeting advanced new rural commune standards.

Along with that, the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" continues to spread with noble gestures and practical actions of the business community, organizations and individuals in the whole district. The emulation movement is actively implemented by agencies, units and localities in conjunction with the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction; deploying and using the "For the Poor" Fund... Thereby, mobilizing resources to support the construction and repair of houses, supporting livelihoods to help poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households stabilize their lives and escape poverty. In 2024, the whole district has built 75 new houses for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households.

At the same time, the District People's Committee has issued a plan to launch the emulation movement "Lac Duong enterprises integrate and develop". Thereby, it aims to enhance the role and responsibility of all levels and sectors in the process of accompanying enterprises in integration and development; encourage production and business activities, create favorable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives, and production cooperatives in accessing capital, labor, land, raw materials, information, science, and technology; support product branding. Currently, the district's OCOP Club is developing strongly with 60 recognized products, 25 agricultural cooperatives with 239 participating members; maintaining 2 main farm economic models of vegetable, root and fruit production and developing 35 agricultural production cooperatives with 568 members.

Responding to the emulation movement "Planting 50 million trees in Lam Dong province in the period of 2021-2025" implementing the emulation movement "The whole country plants 1 billion trees" launched by the Prime Minister, the work of afforestation and tree planting has been carried out with interest by all levels and sectors. In 2024, the whole district planted 719,672 trees of all kinds, reaching 80.3% of the planned target.

Implementing the emulation movement "Promoting administrative reform in Lam Dong province" in the period of 2021 - 2025, currently, in the district, all administrative procedures received and returned at the One-stop Department are carried out through the electronic one-stop information system. In 2024, the locality resolved 99.8% of records before and on time, overdue accounts for only 0.2%; the rate of online submission of records reached 98.7%; online payment reached 89.22%; the satisfaction level of people and businesses reached 100%; digitized records reached 96.85%.

Emulation movements: "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees of Lam Dong province compete to implement office culture"; "Promoting synchronous infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste"; "Digital transformation in Lam Dong province by 2025"; Emulation movements to implement Directive No. 34-CT/TU dated April 20, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee... have been effectively implemented by agencies and units. Thereby creating positive changes in actions, correcting the working style of cadres and civil servants, promoting the sense of responsibility in performing public duties and serving the people.

The leader of Lac Duong District People's Committee said that the patriotic emulation movements in recent times have been launched and widely implemented by Party committees and authorities at all levels in the district in all fields, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere that spreads strongly throughout society. Thereby, motivating and encouraging collectives, individuals, and all classes of people to overcome difficulties, strive to achieve the key goals and tasks set out in each year and each period. The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, policies and regimes have been fully and promptly resolved, and social security has received more attention. Local defense and military work has been strengthened, political security and social order and safety have been maintained.
