Demolition of a series of housing projects to hand over clean land at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park

(DN)- On May 28, the Bien Hoa City Land Fund Development Center coordinated with the An Binh Ward government to mobilize forces and means to dismantle and level the structures of households that had relocated to new residences in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to implement the Project of Converting Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area, and improving the environment.

Accordingly, during the day, nearly 30 constructions were dismantled and leveled to create a clean site at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park. In addition, 3 working groups of the Bien Hoa City Party Committee Standing Committee continued to meet and propagate, mobilizing other households located in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to hand over the site.

The delegations recorded many opinions and recommendations from the people such as: early payment of compensation; payment of house rent; time for households to relocate; early handover of resettlement land; on-site resettlement arrangement; having policies to exempt or reduce infrastructure costs in resettlement areas; compensation and support according to current unit prices...

After 3 days of organizing concentrated propaganda and mobilization, there were 51 more cases of relocation and handover of premises. Thereby, the total number of households handing over premises at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park is 198/355 households.

There are currently 157 cases where the property has not been dismantled or relocated and the site has not been handed over. Of these, 45 cases have agreed and committed to handing over the site in the coming days. Of the remaining 112 cases, 12 have received compensation but have not yet handed over the site; the city leaders directed the City Land Fund Development Center to coordinate with the An Binh Ward People's Committee to develop a plan for enforcement according to regulations.

For the other 100 cases, the city and local delegations will continue to conduct propaganda and mobilization in parallel with reviewing and implementing compensation support policies when the State acquires land according to the people's petitions.

Regarding compensation and support payments, the City Land Fund Development Center has also completed a detailed compensation and support plan for each household and individual and will notify the people of the payment as soon as the Dong Nai Provincial Land Development Fund advances capital.

Regarding resettlement, up to now, 35 cases have drawn lots for resettlement land. In order to facilitate households to agree to sign a commitment to hand over the land and quickly move to a new place of residence, the leaders of the City People's Committee have directed the People's Committees of An Binh, Long Binh and Binh Da wards to urgently find houses for rent, and not increase the rent so that households can soon have a new place of residence.
