Closing ceremony of the Semiconductor Microcircuit Knowledge Training Course

(DN) - On May 30, the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Institute for Leadership Development (Ho Chi Minh City National University) organized the closing ceremony of the training course on knowledge and capacity improvement in microchip design, semiconductor microfabrication technology, microelectromechanical components - microsystems.

The training course takes place from May 19 to 30.

The training course focuses on basic knowledge of the semiconductor industry, global development trends and Vietnam's industry development strategy; knowledge of methods and practices of thin film coating techniques, etching techniques, diffusion doping and ion implantation techniques; semiconductor and MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) microfabrication processes.

At the closing ceremony, the Institute for Leadership Development ( Ho Chi Minh City National University) awarded certificates of completion of the training program to 24 participants. These participants are officers and lecturers at universities and colleges in Dong Nai province who are teaching and researching in related fields.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Vo Hoang Khai emphasized: “Organizing this training course is one of the specific efforts to develop high-quality human resources in the field of microchip and semiconductor technology. I hope that after this course, each student will continue to promote the knowledge they have acquired and apply it effectively in their professional work. At the same time, I hope that the Institute for Leadership Development (Ho Chi Minh City National University) will continue to accompany the locality in training, consulting, knowledge and technology transfer programs in the coming time.”
