The QR code located at the Pú Bảo Temple National Monument in Lăng Can town (Lâm Bình province) is very convenient for tourists to use.

Mr. Cao Van Minh, Head of the Culture and Information Department of Lam Binh District, said: “Focusing on digital transformation in tourism development, Lam Binh District has implemented measures such as: paying for tourism services via QR code scanning; making online reservations, bookings, and tour packages; and strengthening the promotion of the district's tourism potential and products through social media and digital platforms. This helps organizations, individuals, businesses, and cooperatives in the tourism sector reduce labor and management costs, and shorten the gap between tourists and businesses providing services.”

Through social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, Mr. Nguyen Van Tang, from Khau Quang residential area, Lang Can town (Lam Binh district), has been personally venturing into the villages and remote corners of ethnic minority communities to livestream and showcase the beautiful cultural identity, cuisine, local products, and tourist attractions of his hometown to visitors. His videos , which have garnered millions of views on these platforms, have contributed to spreading the beautiful images of the land, people, and scenic landscapes of Lam Binh to friends both domestically and internationally.

Currently, QR codes are affixed and placed at restaurants, homestays, the Na Hang - Lam Binh ecological lake dock, and on tourist boats leading visitors to the Lam Binh district's electronic information portal. There, visitors can find a wealth of useful information about tourism in Lam Binh district to explore , choose, and experience. Integrating QR codes into tourist destinations has helped visitors access and refer to more information compared to traditional methods, especially for independent travelers without guides or tour operators.

Through social media platforms, tourists have become aware of the tourist attractions and various activities in Lam Binh district.

Excited about his first experience in Lam Binh, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, a tourist from Thanh Hoa, said: “I don't need to carry a lot of cash in my pocket because I can scan the QR code and pay for everything. Besides, I learned about the services in Lam Binh district through their fan page and on digital platforms, so it was very convenient for a successful trip.”

In particular, at many destinations, I noticed the district had installed digital QR code boards for destinations and district tourist maps. I accessed them to find information and found it very easy to access and learn more detailed information. Furthermore, when I contacted them via the Fanpage's mobile number, I received very detailed advice, and the tour guides proactively and thoughtfully planned the itinerary for the group. I am satisfied and highly appreciate the information from the "Lam Binh Tuyen Quang Tourism" Fanpage…

Mr. Luong Duy Doanh, Director of Fivestar Travel Company, who manages the Nam Dip and Ban Bon homestays (Lam Binh), shared:

“Over 80% of customer acquisition and homestay services are done online, such as: temporary residence registration for domestic guests is done through the National Information Portal; for foreign guests, it's through the province's immigration system. At the same time, I also proactively seek customers through social media, via channels like Facebook, Google, Booking, Agoda, TikTok… with the approach of creating content suitable for each channel, such as: using Google Maps to focus on sharing images of the homestay; and TikTok to create videos sharing travel experiences. Digital transformation in tourism is truly much more effective than traditional methods and also creates convenience for both tourists and business owners.”

With efforts to apply digital transformation to tourism activities, Lam Binh district is striving to become a key tourist destination in Tuyen Quang province and a shining example of highland tourism.
