First time showing 3D Mapping film at Da Nang Museum

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) to serve people and tourists.

The 3D Mapping film "The Story of Da Nang " uses specialized equipment to project light directly onto the surface of the building at 42 Bach Dang - Da Nang Museum, combined with sound to create a 3D Mapping effect.

This is the first time this technology has been shown outdoors in Da Nang city, with a combination of sound-light-vivid visual effects, to recreate the story of history-culture-aspiration for continuous development of Da Nang city.

“The Story of Da Nang” consists of 3 consecutive parts, introducing the history of formation and development of Da Nang city throughout historical periods.

The Origin of Da Nang aims to recreate the process of land formation, residents and historical developments from prehistoric and early historical periods to the ancient-medieval period, associated with ancient kingdoms, especially the cultural imprints of Sa Huynh, Champa, and Dai Viet;

The epic of struggle recreates the long struggle of the army and people of Da Nang against Western colonialism led by France (1858-1954) and the resistance war against the US to save the country (1954-1975); at the same time, it recreates the process of formation and development of Da Nang city.

Finally, the content of the show "Standing Up" aims to recreate the construction and development of Da Nang city after the liberation day of March 29, 1975, the marks and achievements when it became a centrally-governed city in 1997.

In particular, the city is transforming in the era of integration and development, becoming one of the leading economic , cultural and social centers of the country and the region.

The 3D Mapping film “The Story of Da Nang” is a tribute to our ancestors, generations of fathers and grandfathers and is a new, attractive and impressive tourist attraction in the heart of the city, creating a strong spreading effect, contributing to promoting the image of Da Nang city in general and the Da Nang Museum in particular.

3D Mapping film “The Story of Da Nang” will be shown 2 times/night from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm; 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
