Journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan is Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Economics Magazine.

On the morning of May 21, the Vietnam Environmental Economics Association held a conference to announce and award decisions on personnel work.

Associate Professor, Dr. Luu Duc Hai - Chairman of Vietnam Environmental Economics Association (right) and Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen The Chinh - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Environmental Economics Association presented the decision to appoint Editor-in-Chief and presented flowers to congratulate Journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan.

According to the Decision, journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan, member of the Party cell of the Vietnam Environmental Economics Association, Vice President of the Association, Deputy Standing Member of the Editorial Board was appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Environmental Economics Magazine.

On behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam Environmental Economics Association, Associate Professor, Dr. Luu Duc Hai presented the appointment decision and flowers to congratulate journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan.

Emphasizing the important role of the magazine in the process of spreading good values about the environment and sustainable development today, Associate Professor, Dr. Luu Duc Hai expects that the new Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Tuong Quan will focus on management and leadership in the assigned fields for the members of the Editorial Board, continuing to improve the quality and reputation of the magazine in the New Era of the Nation, the digital era and the green era.

Also at the conference, Secretary of the Party Cell of the Vietnam Environmental Economics Association, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Manh Tien - former Editor-in-Chief of the Environmental Economics magazine expressed his hope that journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan will continue to promote his capacity, perform well the functions and tasks of the Editor-in-Chief, and further develop the magazine.

Speaking at the ceremony to receive the decision to appoint the Editor-in-Chief, journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan sincerely thanked the Party Cell of the Vietnam Environmental Economics Association for its attention and support, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, including the close attention of the Press Department. At the same time, journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan also expressed his gratitude for the attention of the leaders of the Vietnam Environmental Economics Association, the support and trust of the Association's Standing Committee, the Editorial Board and the staff and reporters of the magazine.

Journalist Nguyen Tuong Quan affirmed that he will strive to promote the tradition that the agency has built over the past 20 years, demonstrating a good management role in the magazine's sustainable development roadmap.
