Highlighting the glorious tradition of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism

At the meeting, delegates exchanged, discussed and supplemented some contents, programs and plans to solemnly organize the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

According to comrade Le Quoc Minh, the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is a particularly important milestone for revolutionary journalists, so activities need to be organized solemnly and on a large scale. Comrade Le Quoc Minh said that since the beginning of 2025, the Vietnam Journalists Association and Nhan Dan Newspaper have urgently, seriously and responsibly carried out many activities assigned by the Steering Committee. Up to now, the basic tasks have been completed on schedule. He also believes that under the direction of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the series of activities within the framework of the celebration will be a meaningful, profound and practical political-social and professional activity for generations of revolutionary journalists nationwide.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed: The 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and related activities are a series of important and meaningful events not only for Vietnamese revolutionary journalists but also an important political and social event of the country. Therefore, the organization of the celebration and activities must be carefully and thoroughly prepared with a high sense of responsibility, close coordination and smoothness of agencies and units, ensuring that the celebration and related activities are organized solemnly, practically, meaningfully, and emotionally, worthy of the glorious tradition of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the preparation work, proactive and positive working spirit, serious responsibility and urgency of the members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee; the departments and units assigned to advise and prepare for the organization of the Anniversary Ceremony. Up to now, the work has basically ensured the set progress.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested agencies, units and members of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the celebration to continue to coordinate closely and perform well the assigned tasks, including highlighting the glorious 100-year tradition of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, the role, mission, and important and great contributions of the press to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; identifying the requirements, tasks, and missions of journalists today for the cause of national construction and development in the new era.
