"A breath of fresh air" for the private economy.

Furthermore, attention should be paid to developing various economic sectors, encouraging private sector participation in advantageous areas such as trade and services, tourism, small-scale industries, and agricultural processing. Proactive coordination is needed to address difficulties and obstacles faced by business households and cooperatives; effectively integrating programs, projects, and resources to support production development, and gradually mobilizing social resources to serve socio-economic development in the area. Favorable conditions should be created for households, businesses, and cooperatives to access loans for expanding production and business.
It is known that in Doan Ket ward, there are 1,169 business households and 16 cooperatives operating in all fields. To promote the development of the private economy, the ward works alongside the people, businesses, and cooperatives through many specific actions. These include encouraging and assisting entities to participate in the "One Commune One Product - OCOP" program; showcasing, introducing, and promoting OCOP products, characteristic agricultural products, and typical medicinal products of the locality at events inside and outside the province; and creating flexible mechanisms and policies regarding production and business premises for households, businesses, and cooperatives.

Mr. Le Van Uan, Director of Sukova High-Tech Agricultural and Medicinal Herbs Cooperative, shared: "Our unit has always received attention from all levels and sectors, especially the Party Committee and the government of Doan Ket ward, creating favorable conditions for the development and expansion of production and processing of Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma lucidum, and Reishi mushrooms. Typical examples include support in completing procedures and documents for OCOP product classification assessment, improving product design and packaging; participating in product display and sales at major events inside and outside the province such as Lai Chau Tourism and Culture Week, regional fairs and exhibitions; and bringing delegations to visit our unit. Currently, the cooperative produces and supplies to the market inside and outside the province two products that meet OCOP 3-star standards: freeze-dried Cordyceps sinensis in whole strands and Cordyceps sinensis pupae, and two potential products: Ganoderma lucidum and Reishi mushrooms. Each year, the cooperative's revenue reaches nearly 500 million VND."
With the attention and support of the local Party committee, government, and relevant departments, the private economy in the ward has gradually developed. Trade and service activities have remained stable, with total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue estimated at 2,215 billion VND in 2025; the ward welcomed nearly 169,000 domestic and international tourists, generating over 120 billion VND in tourism revenue. The industrial and handicraft sectors, especially tea processing, have seen many positive changes; the export volume of dried tea reached 762 tons, valued at approximately 1.66 million USD, contributing to job creation, increased income for residents, and a positive contribution to the ward's economic growth.
The above results show that the implementation of Resolution 68-NQ/TW in Doan Ket ward has brought a "new impetus" to the development of the private economy. This has created a new momentum for the locality to continue implementing comprehensive tasks and solutions to unleash the local strength, potential, and advantages, and successfully achieve the goals and tasks set forth in the ward Party Committee's Resolution for 2026.
