On September 20 in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association in collaboration with the Hanoi National University Scientists Club organized the 2nd Global Vietnamese Young Scientists Conference. Attending the event were Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy.
With the theme "Youth in the context of digital transformation", the conference attracted many authors from all over the world to participate in sharing works, topics, and research articles with high application value contributing to the fields of economic - social life, science and technology of the country; actively participating in spreading the spirit of proactive learning, exploration, research and innovation among youth and students.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet said that the first Global Young Scientists Conference held in 2021 with the theme "The role of young Vietnamese intellectuals in the 4.0 era" attracted the participation of more than 500 young scientists from 10 countries around the world and 38 provinces and cities of Vietnam; contributing more than 300 articles with different approaches in innovating teaching and learning methods in a modern direction.
The above success is the premise for the Central Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association to continue organizing the 2nd Global Vietnamese Young Scientists Conference with many innovations, attracting the participation of authors, with many topics of high applicability, capable of contributing to fields and professions in life; in which the highlight is the selection of the topic "Youth in the context of digital transformation" suitable to the context, inevitable and objective trends...
The Organizing Committee will build a digital connection and propaganda system for high-quality research topics and projects, as well as continue to support and complete projects and projects towards international publication, said the Secretary of the Central Youth Union and President of the Central Vietnam Student Association.
At the workshop, delegates discussed 3 areas: Economics, finance, social sciences and humanities, science and technology. The organizing committee also awarded prizes to the 4 best reports, including: "Proposing an integrated model for smart garden management according to sensorthings API standards and lora technology, school of information and communication technology" (Can Tho University); "Consumer resistance to affiliate marketing on social networks" (Ho Chi Minh City Open University); "Ensuring security and order in cyberspace in the context of digital transformation: the role of young people's police" (People's Police Academy) and "Awareness of high school students in Hanoi about the negative impact of social networks on school violence" (Hanoi University).
After 6 months of launching, the conference has attracted the attention of many students, young lecturers, and postgraduates from 16 provinces, cities, and 5 countries around the world, with 431 topics (an increase of more than 100 articles compared to the first conference). Of which, 109 topics are in the fields of economics and finance; 230 topics are in the fields of social sciences and humanities; 92 topics are in the fields of science and technology. Through 2 rounds of closed review, the expert council has selected 128 quality-assured works to be published in the conference proceedings and will be published by the Hanoi National University Publishing House. |
