On the occasion of Buddha's birthday - Buddhist year 2567, Gregorian calendar 2023, on the morning of May 26, Comrade Nguyen Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, visited, presented gifts, and congratulated Most Venerable Thich Thanh Duc, Deputy Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, abbot of Doai Lam Pagoda, Quang Binh Commune, Kien Xuong District. Accompanying him were Comrade Nguyen Van Giang, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee for Mass Mobilization; and leaders of Kien Xuong District.

On behalf of the delegation, the Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission wished Most Venerable Thich Thanh Duc and all dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists of Thai Binh Provincial Buddhist Sangha a peaceful Buddha's birthday; at the same time, acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of Most Venerable Thich Thanh Duc in particular, and dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in general in strengthening the great national unity bloc, building and protecting the Fatherland.

The Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization hopes that in the coming time, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Duc, with his role and prestige, will continue to contribute to strengthening the great national unity bloc, encouraging monks, nuns, and Buddhists to contribute to the socio -economic development of Thai Binh province and the development of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

On behalf of monks, nuns, and Buddhists, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Duc deeply thanked the leaders of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, provincial leaders, local Party committees, and authorities for their attention; at the same time, he promised to continue promoting the fine traditions of Buddhism, actively mobilizing monks, nuns, and Buddhists to promote the tradition of protecting the country and the people, accompanying the nation, well implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws; and actively participating in patriotic emulation movements in the locality.
