On behalf of the Party Committee, Editorial Board, staff, reporters, editors, and workers of the People's Army Newspaper, Major General Doan Xuan Bo presented flowers and warmly sent his best wishes to the two veteran journalists. Major General Doan Xuan Bo informed the two journalists about some of the outstanding achievements of the People's Army Newspaper in the past time and the direction and tasks in the coming time.

At the same time, expressing gratitude for the great contributions of veteran journalists to the development of the People's Army Newspaper as well as the process of building and defending the country. Major General Doan Xuan Bo hopes that veteran journalists will take care of their health so that young journalists can continue to follow the example of their predecessors and continue to write the golden history of the People's Army Newspaper in particular and the Vietnamese revolutionary press in general.
Two veteran journalists, Colonel Pham Phu Bang and Colonel Nguyen Khac Tiep, were directly involved in making 33 issues of the newspaper at the Muong Phang frontline editorial office, published during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. Later, both of them made many contributions to the Vietnamese revolutionary press. They were honored to receive the 75-year Party membership badge from the Party and State.

During the conversation, the two journalists also shared many memories of journalism, memories of their time working at the People's Army Newspaper.
