Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association awarded Certificates to 20 high-quality journalistic works

(CLO) On the afternoon of February 21st, the Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association held a conference to review its activities in 2024, implement tasks for 2025, and commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day. Certificates were also awarded to authors with high-quality journalistic works in 2024.

At the conference, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association Le Van Toa informed: In 2024, the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Board of the Provincial Journalists Association focused on directing and managing activities, always adhering to the directives and resolutions of the Party, the programs and plans, the Charter of the Vietnam Journalists Association ; and the guiding documents of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Propaganda Department on the direction and management of the press, setting out a suitable work program that closely matched the actual situation.

The activities of the Provincial Journalists Association continue to be stable and more substantive. The Association has chaired and coordinated with the province's media agencies to organize many rich and practical professional training sessions.

Furthermore, in its role as the Head of the Emulation Cluster of Journalists' Associations in the Central Highlands provinces, the Provincial Journalists' Association has effectively promoted the spirit of solidarity, collective thinking, and collective responsibility, achieving many encouraging results. The Provincial Journalists Association has successfully organized various journalism awards, including judging and awarding the 20th Provincial Journalism Prize to 32 outstanding works; participating in the National Journalism Award; coordinating with the Provincial Labor Federation to organize the 2nd Journalism Award on Workers' Movement and Trade Union Activities in 2024; participating in the 1st Central Highlands Journalism Award - 2024; and a member of the Lam Dong Journalists Association won the A Prize.

Regarding key tasks for 2025, the Provincial Journalists Association will intensify the dissemination and successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Journalists Association (11th term), and the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Provincial Party Committee to all members. It will also continue to promote the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style."

Strengthening propaganda work and implementing Plan No. 154 dated June 10, 2021, of the Central Propaganda Department on organizing the emulation movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies" towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025); and the Plan on propaganda and organization of activities to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025)...

On this occasion, the Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association awarded the High-Quality Journalism Prize to 20 works by 42 authors in various categories including print journalism, e-magazines, mega stories, infographics, radio, television, and photojournalism. According to assessments, the authors who won the 2024 High-Quality Journalism Prize demonstrated diversity and expanded into new journalistic forms, thereby more fully meeting the diverse demands of modern journalism.
