Leaders of Hoa Binh city hold dialogue to remove difficulties for businesses and cooperatives

(HBĐT) - On August 3, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City organized a dialogue conference with enterprises and cooperatives to exchange information and remove difficulties and obstacles in investment and business activities in the city. Nearly 150 delegates attended, including leaders of relevant departments and branches; leaders of the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee, wards, communes, and specialized departments under the City People's Committee; economic experts and representatives of enterprises and cooperatives.

In recent years, the development of enterprises and cooperatives in Hoa Binh city has achieved relatively positive results. The number of enterprises and the efficiency of production and business activities of enterprises have been increasingly improved, making an important contribution to the process of restructuring and economic growth of the city. Enterprises and cooperatives have participated in solving social issues, creating jobs and increasing income for workers, increasing local budget revenue, and promoting socio-economic development. As of the end of the second quarter of 2023, there were 1,998 enterprises in the city, creating jobs for more than 35,700 workers in the locality and neighboring areas. In addition, the city has 67 cooperatives with a total charter capital of over 143 billion VND. Collective economic organizations have attracted over 1,100 workers with a fairly stable average income.

According to the assessment of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City, many enterprises and cooperatives operate quite effectively but also face many difficulties, requiring timely dialogue to resolve them. At the conference, leaders of Hoa Binh City and representatives of enterprises and cooperatives frankly discussed the difficulties and obstacles. At the same time, experts from the Japan International Cooperation Agency - JICA, the Department of Enterprise Development, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Support Fund - Ministry of Planning and Investment ... shared cooperation opportunities as well as business management experience to improve investment and business efficiency.

Leaders of Hoa Binh City shared the difficulties and challenges that enterprises and cooperatives are facing; at the same time, committed to creating favorable conditions for enterprises and cooperatives to operate effectively, continuing to contribute positively to the development of the city in particular and Hoa Binh province in general.
