Leaders of Jilin province, China visit and promote cooperation with Quang Nam

The delegation of Jilin province was led by Ms. Duong An De - Deputy Governor; accompanied by leaders of departments, branches and representatives of several large local enterprises.

On behalf of the leaders of Quang Nam province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung sent his sincere greetings and best wishes to the delegation of Jilin province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung emphasized that Vietnam and China are two neighboring countries with good relations, and leaders of the two countries regularly have activities to develop bilateral relations.

Last August, a delegation from Quang Nam province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu visited and worked in Cat Lam and was warmly welcomed by the provincial leaders, laying the foundation for the relationship between the two provinces.

Discussing with the delegation about some major features of Quang Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung said that Quang Nam has strengths in tourism, automobile industry, agricultural processing, along with advantages in labor resources, airports, seaports...

In the coming time, Quang Nam hopes to promote cooperation with Jilin province, including increasing exchanges of high-level delegations between the two provinces; investment cooperation in the fields of tourism , agriculture, pharmaceuticals, mechanical industry, etc.

Ms. Duong An De - Deputy Governor of Jilin Province thanked the leaders of Quang Nam Province for their welcome and was pleased with the development of cooperative relations between the two provinces in recent times.

Regarding the strengths of Jilin province, Ms. Duong An De said that in the first 9 months of 2024, imported goods from Vietnam to Jilin province increased by 145%.

Jilin has many strengths in many fields, in which the province is considered the cradle of China's automobile and train manufacturing industries. In addition to key industries, Jilin also has large corporations in the fields of manufacturing, processing pharmaceuticals, agriculture, etc.

Hoping that the delegation's visit to Quang Nam this time will open a "new window" in promoting trade and investment between the two localities, Ms. Duong An De hopes that the provincial leaders will pay attention and create favorable conditions for enterprises of Jilin province to come to research and invest in Quang Nam.

Through discussion and sharing, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung said that Quang Nam and Cat Lam have many similarities in terms of strengths and development orientation, thereby expecting the cooperative relationship between the two provinces to develop in the coming time.

At the invitation of Ms. Duong An De, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung said he will arrange to visit Jilin province at a suitable time.
